Who is Quinn Lovelace?

Quinn Lovelace is Aisling’s parental guardian. After Aisling’s mom Mya died and father Sean vanished, Quinn took Aisling in. Quinn is a maternal figure for Aisling but also a good friend. She has a close rapport with her and Aisling trusts her. She is a horrible baker (but still thinks she belongs on Great British Baking Show) and doesn’t keep her home very organized, but it is filled with love.
She is compassionate and empathetic but also can be pragmatic when needed. There are times Quinn is Aisling’s voice of reason when Aisling is being unreasonable.
A Scene Introducing Quinn
As the door swung open, she called, “Hey Quinn, I’m home!”
“I’m in here,” Quinn called back and popped her head out of the kitchen, waving her in. A giant oven mitt covered her dainty hand and her hazel eyes sparkled as she grinned at the twenty-one-year-old.
She escorted the girl into the cheery kitchen. Her old stand mixer hulked on the counter. Flour dusted the laminate countertops, and sticky hunks of dough clung to the mixer itself. Quinn wiped it down and grumbled to Aisling, a playful smile on her face. “I’m such a mess, girl. How do you even tolerate me?”
“Easy,” Aisling replied, “I don’t live with you anymore.”
Quinn laughed. “Aisling,” she exclaimed, “I have something for you!” She flung off the oven mitt and zipped around the kitchen. As she dug around her junk drawer, she muttered under her breath, “I know it’s here somewhere.”
